Get Involved With Your Neighborhood Association

Only $1 Per Year

Membership in the Oread Neighborhood Association includes any person eighteen years of age or older living or owning property within the Oread neighborhood. Residents and property owners are encouraged to donate $1.00 annually to help support ONA's various efforts to improve the neighborhood.

During the last few years ONA has been actively involved in reducing neighborhood blight, protecting the neighborhood's limited parking space, seeking options for homeless services that do not infringe on residents and property owners, finding effective methods of deterring criminal and disorderly behavior, protecting the neighborhood from encrouchment by the University of Kansas , preserving Oread's historic structures, and much more.

Oread's friends who don't live in the neighborhood can help too. You can become a non-voting member of the Oread Neighborhood Association for only $5.00 per year.
